Resolution: 

Please follow below setups to resolve your issue.


1 : Check registry setting which is given below. It must be as show below. if not then manually setup the below entries.  

A: HKEY_CURRENT_USER 
B: Software\Policies
C: Microsoft Office
D: 12.0
E: Outlook
F: AutoDiscover

Value name: ZeroConfigExchange
Value type: REG_DWORD
Value data: 1

How to improve your internet speed using gpedit.msc

Description

Microsoft reserves 20% of your available bandwidth for their own purposes like Windows Updates and for other purpose. There are different reasons for internet speed but this setting will help to increase you speed.

Solution

Follow below given steps

Click on start à run à then type “gpedit.mscà click ok

                                              As shown in below image

 

Click on Local Computer Policyà Computer Configurationà Administrative TemplatesàNetworkà QOS Packet ScheduleràLimit Reservable Bandwidth.

                                                   As shown in below image

 

 

 

 

Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidthàthen trick is to ENABLE reservable bandwidth, then set it to ZERO 

Note: It will say it is not configured, but the truth is under the 'Explain' tab i.e." Determines the percentage of connection bandwidth that the system can reserve. This value limits the combined bandwidth reservations of all programs running on the system. By default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 80 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default. If you enable this setting, you can use the "Bandwidth limit" box to adjust the amount of bandwidth the system can reserve. If you disable this setting or do not configure it, the system uses the default value of 80 percent of the connection. If a bandwidth limit is set for a particular network adapter in the registry, this setting is ignored when configuring that network adapter."

So the trick is to ENABLE Reservable bandwidth, then set it to ZERO. This will allow the system to reserve nothing, rather than the default 20%.It works on Win 2000 as well

Now click on Apply à Ok à now restart you system then check.

 

How to create PST in MS office 2013

Description

If you are using MS office or Microsoft Office 2010 then follow following steps to create PST.

Create Outlook PST file in MS office 2013

1: Click on start--> run --> type "outlook"--> click on OK

2: Click on file --> click on Account settings

3: Click on data Files--> click on add

4: Enter the desired name for your PST file in the File name tab. For e.g we have given file name as "2013"--> click OK. 
Notes:
Next by default it will open up Outlook folder to create your pst file. Browse for the folder which you have created

 

5: Now you can see PST 2013 in below image. 

MSVCR71.dll missing

You may get MSVCR71.dll missing error after installing application. You can follow below given steps to resolve .dll error.

Resolution:

you may get such error because after different reasons

1: MSVCR71.dll file is missing 

2: Dll file is there but its corrupt 

Just copy past two file those are MSVCP71.DLL and msvcr71.dll in c:\Windows

Close application and start again

What is PST?

Note: There are different type of File Extension available in Microsoft Outlook some are below

It has a 2GB file size limit. its default location is  C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\ Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook in XP, where as in Vista/7/8 the Location is C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook.

3: Go to "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList". you will get all SIDS of loaded profiles. you need to delete SID which is showing with .bak extensions or rename the same.

4 : restart your system and login again and you will get your old profile with all old setting and details.

Resolution

1 : create an empty folder named "XLSTART" in the following position: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE12"(Root of MS Office Folder). 

 create an empty folder named "XLSTART" in the following position: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE14"(Root of MS Office Folder). 

2: If still getting same error then remove MS office and re-install the same.
