in this blog, we are going see error "this site can't be reached". after registering hostagent
try to start the SUM tool but getting below error.

Resolution
following are few checks we need to perform
1: Make sure that the communication ports 1128 and 1129 of your system are open and not blocked by third-party software such as a firewall to ensure the correct operation of the SAP Host Agent
2: Your system is up and running, including all system instances and all system processes. Do not stop the system manually. The Software Update Manager stops and starts it when needed.
3: You are logged on to the update host as user <sapsid>adm
4: Upgrade host agent to the latest version before running SUM tools
once all the above steps successfully meet then run SUM Url again and enter user name and password ( root/ sidadm). we will find see issue resolved.
